Today is the last day of SEO Contest by claremont design company in US. Claremont provides a high quality web designs, ecommerce and SEO services with LA Toy Store, a leading distributor of different kinds of toys ( wooden toys, autism toys, therapy toys and other special toys for children) announced last february 20, 2009 a $500.00 search engine optimization competition for 2009.
This seo contest lasted for 2 months and person who can optimize the keyword “tnomeralc web design toys” and rank it to the 1st page 1st list of google will win the contest. Today is the last day of this seo contest and my entry is currently rank #2 in page 1 of google.
For me, prize does not matter.ll well it does but not that much…, what I want to achieve here as SEO specialist are the process, strategies, theory of ranking in serps especially in google. SEO Contest is 1 of a great way experimenting different kind of SEO that you’ve learn from the past if they are still working and learn new things that in my theory helps a website to rank in serps as much as possible in a shorter period time.
Another good thing in SEO Contest like this are you can monitor the changes of serps in a day to day manner, well all the contestant push their limit to achieve a highest ranking and in the last week of this contest I saw more tham 10 to 20 times of rank changing. This means all of them knows what they are doing and it’s a challenge for us as a SEO Specialist to learn on that tactics and apply different things on my entry.
Last things of course, In any SEO Contest that I’ve joined I’ve met new friends “virtually/online” and I consider that as big prize in any seo contest.
Well it’s still 8 hours left to end the tnomeralc web design toys, I sure in 8 hours so many things will happen and I hope I can still win in this contest. I also congratulate other contestant who joined the contest and I hope there will be another Pinoy SEO Contest.
